Ask not what your country can do your you; ask what you can do for your country.”

John F. Kennedy used a rephrased line from this classic work in 1961, for his presidential inauguration address. Many people are under the assumption that he came up with the line, “and so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do your you; ask what you can do for your country.”  That line came from this essay and was written more than 30 years previously; and is even more important and timely today than ever. >>click
