SUNDAY 2/10/2016

I had my lunch at Chokodok Reggae House, ordered a lasagna pasta which i never heard or try before.
This house is actually a reggae music theme cafe, just sat there and chill with my friends.

I found this blog post actually introduced the cafe well,
http://alwaystravelicious.com/2014/08/19/chokodok-reggae-house-cafe-ipoh/

What attract me is the red, yellow, green flag which is a simbol for reggae music
#Rastafari

Rastafarians was a religion formed in Jamaica in the 30's where they recognized Haile Sellasie, the emperor as their God. The Ethiopian flag had the colors of green, yellow and red to represent Africa, but to the Rastafari's, the colors meant something else. The Red represented the lives lost in their struggle - the blood that was spilt. The Green represented the vegetation and beauty and the Yellow - the gold that was looted from their country.

C.S.LEWIS 说过
TO LOVE IS TO BE VULNERABLE.

(RESILIENCE)

Ask not what your country can do your you; ask what you can do for your country.”

John F. Kennedy used a rephrased line from this classic work in 1961, for his presidential inauguration address. Many people are under the assumption that he came up with the line, “and so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do your you; ask what you can do for your country.”  That line came from this essay and was written more than 30 years previously; and is even more important and timely today than ever. >>click

PLKN

I am getting my spm result tomorrow, just two days after my plkn. I gone through  a lot of  hardship but  I also gained true friendship, some of them from Kl, and every part of Sarawak.
In three months time, I had visited Sibu waterboard , first rumah panjang in my life, and more. Unfortunately, I didn't have the photos with me, only the happy moment in my mind.
I learned to shoot M16 and obtained 88 marks in the shooting competition.
I finished 3.2km merentas desa and got the position 68
I stayed in the wad kuarantin  for three days time.
I learned Cantonese, Tamil, some iban as well.
I learned to cherish my family more, treasure every moment in my life.
I learned to stay positive, always smiling no matter how bad is the situation.
I learned to believe myself, by accepting all my flaws admit move on
I set my targets for next few years and I am going to achieve it.

“You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.” ―Mae West

Last day of 2013 , i don't want to publish any post actually but it's time to face the reality..hah

As Mahatma Gandhi once said, “Live as if you were to die tomorrow.  Learn as if you were to live forever.”  Life is a book and those who do not educate themselves read only a few pages.  When you know better you live better.  Period.
All education is self-education.  It doesn’t matter if you’re sitting in a college classroom or a coffee shop.  We don’t learn anything we don’t want to learn.  Those who take the time and initiative to pursue knowledge on their own time are the only ones who earn a real education in this world.  Take a look at any widely acclaimed scholar, entrepreneur or historical figure you can think of.  Formal education or not, you’ll find that he or she is a product of continuous self-education.
I do take the initiatives to learn  something this holiday -----Reading books. A big regret that i didn't travel alone this year, lack of courage to step up. But i made a promise to travel to Japan one day,i promised to myself.

RELATIONSHIP
Not everyone will appreciate what you do for them.  You have to figure out who’s worth your attention and who’s just taking advantage of you.  If your time and energy is misspent on the wrong relationships, or on too many activities that force you to neglect your good relationships, you can end up in a tedious cycle of fleeting friendships, superficial romances that are as thrilling as they are meaningless, and a general sense of wondering why you always seem to be running in place, chasing affection.
Choose yourself rather than settle for those who treat you as ordinary.  YOU certainly aren’t.  Never settle for being someone’s “option” when you have the potential to be someone’s “first choice.”  You are the sum of the people you spend the most time with.  If you hang with the wrong people, they will bring you down, but if you hang with the right people, they will help you grow into your best self.  The RIGHT people for you will love all the things about you that the WRONG people are intimidated by – that’s what you need to look out for. I learned to cherish my bros(due to less female friends) and grateful that there are fews of them that are really sincere to me . I appreciate that for true friends are hard to come by and it requires me to be the right one too.

LIfe is a long journey ahead,so S m i l e every chance you get; not because life has been easy, perfect, or exactly as you had anticipated, but because you choose to be happy and grateful for all the good things you do have, and all the problems you know you don’t have.  You must accept the fact that life is not perfect, that people are not perfect, and that you are not perfect.  And that’s okay, because the real world doesn’t reward perfection.  It rewards people who get GOOD things done.  And the only way to get GOOD things done is to be imperfect 99% of the time.
Lastly , i wish everyone happy New year!!!

World 's Biggest Oil companies

I was so proud when I saw the petronas is in the list!!
The World's 25 Biggest Oil Companies

25. Petronas - 1.4 million barrels per day
Malaysia's state oil giant mades its headquarters in the landmark Petronas Twin Towers, seen in the background of this photo. Petronas has recently expanded abroad, and is in the process of acquiring Canada's gas-focused Progress Energy for $5.4 billion. (Note: 2012 working interest production volumes calculated by Wood Mackenzie reflects oil plus the energy equivalent in natural gas.)
